WHO WE ARE

Baker Properties is a commercial real estate investment company based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our company’s founder, Todd Baker, has been buying and managing apartment complexes, shopping centers, office buildings, and other commercial properties since 2001.

We are experts in property valuation, acquisition, renovation, accounting and finance, leasing and property management.

TODD BAKER

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Todd has been an entrepreneur since his teens and focused on commercial real estate opportunities since 2001. Since starting his career as a financier with GE Capital and SG Cowen, Todd has acquired more than a dozen businesses and properties valued in excess of $70MM and managed properties valued in excess of $200MM.

Todd earned his undergraduate degree in Business and Political Science from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from Cornell University. He lives with his wife, Melanie, and two teenage daughters in New Castle, New Hampshire, where Todd is active in the community and a member of five advisory boards. Todd is a competitive squash player, avid runner, biker, skier, and an instrument-rated pilot.

KEITH PATTISON

PRINCIPAL

Keith handles new investments and projects from the Portsmouth office. Keith’s background includes construction, investment banking, and corporate finance as CFO for several substantial companies. Keith earned his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and earned an MBA degree with distinction from Cornell University’s Johnson School. He has lived with his wife and four children in Hanover, NH for many years and is currently dividing time between Portsmouth and Hanover.

MATT ALDEN

OWNER'S AGENT

Matt joined Baker Properties’ management team early 2023 with an initial project management focus on the McIntosh Dover Apartments construction and development. Matt’s role also includes business and project operations to support Baker Properties’ continued scale and performance for all stakeholders. Matt’s career spans 30+ years of business development and senior management experience, combining marketing, technology, leadership, and workflow refinement to drive business development outcomes.

Matt grew up in Andover, MA, attended the University of New Hampshire earning a BA in English, and has resided in Rye, NH since 1996 where he and his wife, Gianna, raised their two boys.
